2024 was a pivotal year for GROUPAUTO Italia, marking both its 50th anniversary and its strategic shift toward technology.
In today’s fast-evolving automotive landscape, GROUPAUTO Italia believes that workshops can stand out by mastering new technologies. To this end, the company has focused its strategy on expanding departments and enhancing software, such as the Promek management system for mechanics and new modules within InOfficina, a digital program designed for garages.
To further support independent car repairers, G-Tech was established as a new technical business unit within GROUPAUTO Italia. G-Tech focuses on two main areas: training and technical assistance.
Training is aimed at both independent garages, helping them stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies, and corporate clients, including long-term rental fleets. Training courses, available both in-person and online via the G-Academy portal, cover technical, digital, and managerial topics, with professional videos and product training, thanks to GROUPAUTO Italia’s strong supplier partnerships.
The technical assistance area provides repairers with support for any issues they encounter during repairs. Whether through phone, email, or the ticketing portal, workshops can access expert guidance and up-to-date information, ensuring they have the resources needed to address complex problems.
The training and assistance teams at G-Tech work closely together, with trainers using real-world case studies from the technical assistance department to enhance course content. This ensures that workshops receive practical, hands-on learning based on actual repair scenarios.
GROUPAUTO Italia’s ultimate goal is to simplify the process of finding technical information and training for garages. The new G-Tech unit aims to make resources more accessible, allowing workshops to update their knowledge anytime, anywhere, through a single platform. This approach ensures that garages no longer need to search for training or technical solutions—they can easily find everything they need with just a click.
