EU urges member states to implement Eurovignette Directive

The European Commission has sent formal notices to eight member states, including Bulgaria, Greece, and Spain, for not implementing the new Eurovignette Directive. The directive mandates tolls for heavy goods vehicles based on their CO2 emissions. These countries have received a reasoned opinion, the final step before possible referral to the EU Court of Justice.
