Volvo Trucks holds 47% of the European electric truck market, with 1,970 registrations in 2024. Key markets include Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Switzerland, while in France, Volvo ranks second. In North America, it holds 40% of the market. Since launching its electric range, Volvo has delivered over 4,800 vehicles. The company emphasizes the urgent need for infrastructure, estimating that 40,000 charging stations will be needed in Europe by 2030, and highlights the role of financial incentives in boosting the profitability of electric trucks.
