DAF XD and XF Electric Named Truck of the Year 2026

At Solutrans, DAF Trucks’ XD and XF Electric models won the International Truck of the Year 2026 award, marking the third consecutive year the title has gone to an electric truck after the Volvo FH Electric in 2024 and the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 in 2025. They prevailed over the MAN D30 PowerLion and the Scania Super 11. Since the award was created in 1977, DAF has now secured seven titles, while Mercedes-Benz remains the most awarded brand with ten victories.
