European tire market continues to grow

After a sluggish 2023, tire sales in Europe have regained some momentum. The growth in the TC4 segment observed in the first quarter of 2024 continued into the second quarter, with volumes increasing by 4%. For the first half of the year, all-season tire sales rose by 16%, compared to 8% for winter tires. In contrast, summer tire sales declined by four percentage points. Overall, 108.8 million TC4 tires were sold in Europe during this period, reflecting a 2% increase.
