Forvia strengthens its position in connected car applications
By acquiring the remaining 50% stake in Faurecia Aptoide Automotive (FAA), Forvia aims to enhance its influence in the connected car market. The platform aims to achieve a 35% market share in automotive applications by 2030. Launched in 2019, FAA is an Android application platform offering navigation, games, and infotainment for vehicles. It has been installed in three million vehicles and provides drivers access to 250 applications, including Spotify, TikTok, Amazon Music, Zoom, and Rovio games like Angry Birds.
