Continental prepares to spin off Automotive Group
Continental, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, is considering splitting off its division Automotive Group Sector, a decision driven by an internal strategic review. The move aims to better capitalize on the division's potential in response to the rapidly changing market. A final decision will be made following an evaluation in the fourth quarter of 2024. If approved by the supervisory board, shareholders will vote on the spin-off in April 2025, with the separation potentially taking effect by the end of that year. The group's other divisions, including Tires and ContiTech, would remain part of Continental.
