BYD unveils new EV truck and LCV

Chinese manufacturer BYD presented a 100% electric truck at the Hanover Motor Show. Named EYT 2.0, which stands for “Electric Yard Tractor,” it is specifically designed for use in ports and airports. The new model features an updated design while maintaining the characteristic offset cab, which enhances comfort and visibility. With a combined gross weight of up to 75 tons, the BYD EYT 2.0 offers a range of 16 hours on a quick charge. Additionally, BYD made its world premiere of the E-Vali, a large electric light commercial vehicle (LCV). The E-Vali is equipped with the latest Blade Battery technology and boasts a range of up to 250 km. BYD promises a payload capacity of up to 1,450 kg and a volume of up to 17.9 m³.
