ACEA projects the need for 50,000 charging stations by 2030 to reach climate target

According to ACEA, Europe will require 50,000 public electric charging stations by 2030. The association estimates that to achieve a target of reducing CO2 emissions by 45% by that year, 50,000 public electric charging stations and 700 hydrogen stations will be needed. By 2030, it is projected that there will be 330,000 battery-electric trucks (BEVs) and 70,000 hydrogen-powered trucks on the road.
