ZF to Cut 7,600 Jobs to Restore Competitiveness
The German equipment manufacturer ZF will reduce 7,600 positions within its transmission division as part of a cost-saving plan targeting over €500 million in annual savings by 2027.
The supplier aims to rely on voluntary departures, natural turnover, and retraining to minimize forced layoffs. The restructuring is intended to restore competitiveness amid slowing demand and price pressure.
