Delivering Tesla’s first electric truck

Tesla delivered its first electric truck, the Semi, in December 2022. Tesla wants to shake up this nascent market and promises long-distance capacity without the need to stop at a charging station. Tesla said that the truck had travelled 500 miles (805 km) without recharging, with a total weight of nearly 37 tons. Vehicles currently on the market offer a range of 250 to 300 miles (400 to 480 km).
