Scania plant

Scania has inaugurated its module and battery pack assembly plant for electric trucks in Sweden. Associated with Northvolt, Scania plans to release parts with a lifespan of 1.5 million kilometres. Scania invested 130,000 million euros (1.5 billion Swedish crowns) in this 18,000 m² semi-automated factory. Located in Södertälje, near Stockholm, this site employs 550 people, 40% of whom are women.
