Solar panels for Scania

Scania is testing a hybrid heavy-duty prototype on Swedish roads, notably powered by solar panels placed on either side of the semi-trailer. Its prototype has a power of 560 hp and a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh, with an additional reserve of 200 kWh. The 18-metre semi-trailer is covered with photovoltaic panels. The stored energy can also be used to cool the interior.
