Renault Trucks implements photovoltaic shade systems

Renault Trucks is set to revolutionize its industrial site in Bourg-en-Bresse (Auvergne Rhone Alpes) with the installation 17 hectares of photovoltaic shading. These solar panels are expected to generate 22 megawatts of power, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 17,500 inhabitants or 43% of the city's population where the plant is located. Starting in 2026, a portion of the energy produced by this solar farm will be self-consumed, meeting 30% of the site's electricity demands.
