Europe greenlights larger zero-emission trucks

The Transport Committee of the European Union has given the green light to a significant increase in the length and weight limits for zero-emission trucks. This move, aimed at promoting cleaner transportation, will see the weight limit raised from 40 to 44 tons. While initially, there was a proposal to limit the trucks' length increase to 90 centimeters, an amendment has since removed this restriction. Consequently, there is currently no additional length limit imposed on these eco-friendly vehicles.
