Best garage

GROUPAUTO Russia has finished ‘The Best Garage of 2023’ contest and awarded the winners with a brand-new car. ‘The Best Garage of the Year’ is the largest professional competition for garages. All Russian garages and employees of non-dealer segment services can participate. The sixth season of the competition ended in August; across this period, thousands of garages have tested themselves in the competition, and many have achieved great success.

This year, for the first time a car was the main prize: it was a special award for ‘The Best Garage’ nomination. More than 300 semi-finalists from the regional finals of the competition arrived in Moscow on August 26^th to take part in the National Final of the competition.

In 2023, the organizing committee made radical changes by adopting a new quiz format that is now gaining popularity. The quiz was developed by the contest’s expert jury. In this format only real knowledge and experience could help the participants to win. Andrey Akimov, head of the ‘Best Garage’ project: “We have specifically created a quiz to identify the best specialists and garages in Russia.

The format is new, but it is as interesting as possible, and the questions are based closely on situations which garages face in real life almost every day. I am happy that I see among the participants both winners of previous years and many new faces. It means that we are heading in the right direction.”

Competition participants played two games. The first was an exam to determine the strongest participants; the second was entertaining and was held in a relaxed atmosphere. At the end of both games, winners were awarded. There were many nominations, more than before, and GROUPAUTO Russia, together with its partners, prepared a lot of valuable prizes for many participants.

Firstly, the strongest winners of the regional finals were awarded: those who scored the maximum number of points among all regions. Then GROUPAUTO Russia awarded the winners of the evening in the categories ‘The Best Mechanic’, ‘The Best Master-Consultant’, ‘The Best Director’, and ‘The Best Garage’. The heroes of the evening, a garage named Mechanicus, were winners of the ‘Best Garage’ category and they took the new Lada Granta Cross back with them to the city of Sergiyev Posad. In addition, there were prizes from the Group and the Partners.
