Autonetwork made an acquisition in 2022 to enter the independent vehicle repair market in Turkey. The aim is to provide high quality services to individual car owners, fleets, and insurance companies at an affordable price, creating a strong alternative to authorized dealers. The company’s service scope includes periodic and mechanical maintenance, collision repairs, auto car care, tires, and electrical repairs. Autonetwork’s vision of a “guaranteed service for every brand of vehicle” has created significant attention in the market. Barbaros Özkök joined the company on 1st June to support the company’s strong ambitions in Turkey. Before this, he was CEO of Turkey’s leading auto independent car service chain ‘Auto King’, with 150 locations. He started his career at EY as an investment banker and followed this with working as a private equity investment manager at EMF Capital Partners. He studied for a BSc in Management at Sabanc? University and an MA in International accounting and finance at the University of East Anglia.
The restructuring process which is the basis of the new strategy has been completed; this means the network now offers a full range of automotive after-market needs. There are 15 franchises operating all over Turkey and the aim is to reach 35 locations over the next year.
The network has opened a new Autonetwork service point in ?zmir.
The franchise is a flagship workshop, which gives a full range of product and services to B2C, fleet and insurance customers. The service operates within 3.300 sqm closed and 1.500 sqm open area in the heart of the auto after-market industry. The workshop provides periodic and mechanical maintenance, collision repair, car care and detailing, diagnostic and solutions, electric and electronic repair, and tire services.
