Stellantis could build EVs in Europe and North America

Stellantis is considering building electric vehicles using technology from its Chinese affiliate Leapmotor, in regions such as Europe, North America and other markets where cheaper EV models are necessary to rival Chinese EV manufacturers, revealed its CEO Carlos Tavares. Tavares further commented on the potential for Western governments to restrict Chinese imports, stating, "We have the opportunity to produce Leapmotor cars locally. This could include Europe and North America."
