Hyundai and Kia introduce innovation to boost EV Efficiency

Hyundai and Kia have introduced the 'Active Air Skirt' technology, aimed at reducing the fuel consumption of electric vehicles while enhancing their speed and range. This innovative system controls turbulence generated during driving by adjusting its function based on the vehicle's speed. Positioned between the bumper and the front wheels, the Active Air Skirt remains hidden during typical driving conditions but activates once the vehicle exceeds 80 km/h, optimizing aerodynamic performance. It retracts when the vehicle slows down to 70 km/h, effectively managing aerodynamic resistance to enhance efficiency.
