BMW to introduce level 3 autonomous driving in New 7 Series

The upcoming BMW 7 Series will soon offer Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities, enabling drivers to temporarily disengage from the steering wheel. The BMW Personal Pilot L3 function will assume control of vehicle speed, distance from the vehicle ahead, and lane positioning in specified scenarios, allowing drivers to focus on other tasks. This advanced technology will be operational on freeways with separate carriageways, enabling drivers to engage in other activities while traveling at speeds of up to 60 km/h.
