European tire market sees growth amidst uncertainties in 2024

In 2024, the European TC4 tire market grew by 5%, with 223 million units sold, driven mainly by all-season tires. However, heavy truck tire sales fell by 1%, and original equipment sales dropped by 8% for TC4 and 22% for PL. Asian imports, especially from China, rose by 17%, reaching 110 million units. Despite the growth, sales remain below pre-pandemic levels, and ongoing uncertainties in the automotive industry continue to impact tire manufacturers.
