Belgians drive more

Based on data provided by Car-Pass, the central register of odometers in Belgium, it appears that Belgians drove an average of 16,589 km in 2022. This figure has increased by 8% but remains below pre-COVID levels, while working from home continues to be a factor. Indeed, the average annual mileage of passenger cars remains 7.5% lower than the period preceding the pandemic. Analysts also underlined the impact of the progressive use of bicycles for daily trips.
