New fuel cell for Honda and GM

Honda will launch a new hydrogen vehicle in 2024 in North America and Japan. Its fuel cell, a next-generation system co-developed with GM, costs only a third of the previous generation’s vehicle. The model will also be rechargeable at home like an electric car. Honda plans to sell 2,000 units per year of this system initially, then 60,000 in 2030.
