EuroTaller, the workshop network promoted by Groupauto Unión Ibérica (GAUIb), is determined to consolidate its competitive advantages in after-sales leasing by creating a certification that accredits the knowledge and specialization of its member workshops in hybrid vehicles, plug-in hybrids and electrical.
Currently, vehicle leasing companies register one in three hybrid and electrified cars that are marketed in Spain.
They have become one of the clients that most demands maintenance and repair services for HEV, PHEV and BEV vehicles. In fact, 24% of the country's leasing vehicle fleet is already hybrid or electrified. With their new certification of specialists in this type of vehicle, the EuroTalleres want to consolidate and improve their participation in after-sales leasing.
The new EuroTaller course on "Diagnosis and Repair of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles", lasting three months, which has been designed and will be taught by the Autotecnic company, will include online and face-to-face training and personalized tutorials.
The online training of the course will be given with videos lasting about 15 minutes and will be structured around five content blocks (security, system structure, system components, maintenance and diagnosis) with their corresponding evaluation tests.
The face-to-face training session, lasting about 8 hours, will take place once the online training has been completed, so that all the content covered in the videos can be reviewed in a practical way. The issues covered in this face-to-face training will be, among others: the deactivation of the high voltage of the vehicle; the control of the different elements of the system; the control of the operating conditions of the vehicle, ready, traction, load, etc; the diagnostic process; and the control of batteries in the vehicle without having to disassemble them.
