2023: a year in progress?

After a 4.6% drop in 2022, to 9.25 million registrations, the Association of European Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA) has suggested that 2023 could be synonymous with growth. Indeed, the association indicated that it anticipated a 5% increase in the market, to 9.8 million units. “Despite many uncertainties, the market should start to recover in 2023,” said ACEA Secretary General Sigrid de Vries. “However, we remain 25% below 2019 levels; the situation remains fragile.”
