After completing a full audit of all EURO KONCEPT network members, the network had reached 307 members by the end of February. The network has decided to implement a system of two levels, due to increasing demands for repairs on newer, more advanced vehicles, largely because of increasing numbers of fleet customers. These two levels are:
EUROGARAGE: Each member must meet minimum vehicle repair and all GAI requirements to join the network. The network will continue to equip these members with new equipment, tools, and specialized training so that they can repair the newer vehicles that start coming into their shops.
EUROSERVICE: These members already meet the requirements to repair the latest vehicles and are equipped with most of the necessary tools.
The network then selects ‘fleet’ garages from among members to repair fleet vehicles according to the requirements of the individual fleet customers.
The network has also done some development of its fleet services. Currently, a central call centre and increased invoicing formats are being offered. The network will also be increasing its bonuses and the price range for fleet customers, while there will also be a focus on carsharing and the specific needs of this kind of rental.
Since the introduction of the fleet customer service department, turnover and order numbers have increased by 100% over last year. Because there are almost no complaints from fleet customers, this offering is continuing to expand and deliver success. Once the testing of new functionalities inside R&M has been completed, the network will be offering this service to all new vehicle repair customers.
